The Liberty and Justice Walk is a three-day, approximately 30-mile journey, taking place over Memorial Day weekend, May 23–26, 2025, into Philadelphia, PA.
Designed to be both meaningful and accessible, the walk is divided into three daily segments of approximately 10 miles each. Participants are invited to walk one day, all three, or join us for even just a portion of the journey.
This walk is open to all who believe in liberty, justice, and the foundational values of our democracy. Together, we walk to honor those who have served and to affirm our collective commitment to the ideals of liberty and justice for all.
The walk will include rest stops, historical reflection points, and educational programming along the way.
Day 1: Valley Forge to Norristown — exploring Revolutionary War sites and the importance of perseverance and sacrifice.
Day 2: Norristown to Manayunk — a walk through industrial heritage and cultural diversity, featuring speakers and music.
Day 3: Manayunk to Independence Hall — focusing on liberty, justice, and civic participation, ending with a gathering at the Liberty Bell.
All participants are welcome to join for a single day, part of a day, or the full three-day walk. Families, students, and veterans are especially encouraged to attend.
